Tenerife

The island of Tenerife is home to a number of interesting towns and communities, including Puerto Santiago, a little fishing village, as well as a number of lively resorts and long, sandy beaches. There is a UNESCO World Heritage Site at Teide National Park in the middle of the island. Volcano Mount Teide is the world's third-largest volcano, with a height of 3,776 feet above sea level.
